Kuza Cave is a freshwater lime stone cave, located in a pleasant natural environment of wildlife, flora and fauna. Take a trip out to the ancient caves, a short distance inland of Jambiani village, to discover its history, significance to the local community as a sustainable tourism development. Also to bathe in the crystal-clear turquoise waters that link to a network of sub caves and underground rivers.

Cuza Cave holds significance in Swahili history and local folklore. It has been used for spiritual and traditional ceremonies by the local people, who believe in its magical properties. After the introduction of Islam to the region, the cave ceased to be used for ceremonies but remains a place of wonder and beauty.

At the top of the cave, there is a cultural center where visitors can engage in various activities such as listening to live music performances, taking cooking classes, and watching artisans create bracelets. The center serves as a space for learning about the history and traditions of Zanzibar.
